I created Dash and Hound Designs to explore my love of animals as well as my love of painting. It is a product business where my partner and I offer dog and cat themed accessories such as tote bags, art prints, ornaments and greeting cards through our website. As I designed the branding I kept in mind the whimsical and light hearted nature of my work as well as our target customer. I chose to use black and white for the logos to keep them timeless and universal. The hand lettering and gestural outlined figures were meant to compliment the hand painted product.
