Speak Más

Summary
Speak Más is a start-up that connects Spanish language students with native speakers. Students are set up with a Spanish speaking mentor and have sessions via video chat where they can review grammar rules and practice through conversations. I had a lot of fun working with this company to create their branding and landing page layout for their website. Speak Más is an educational company, so I created graphic illustrations that were clean, playful and incorporated a primary color palette.

Reflections

  • In the early stages of this project the business owner had a lot of different illustration styles that he liked and thought could work for his brand. It was a challenge to narrow it down but after working together and creating multiple Pinterest boards full of inspiration we decided this whimsical yet simple and graphic style worked best.

  • The business owner was really happy in the end with how playful and fun the illustrations were and was pleased with the primary color palette which was important to him because it reminded him of learning Spanish for the first time in school.
